I first met Taelor in my little league days on our softball team, The Bats. So when she reached out asking me to capture her day it was a blast from the past, one for which I was so excited! Then I had another blast from the past when Taelor and Ross showed up to our consultation coffee date dressed as Sandy and Danny from Grease. Two after my own heart!!!
Fast forward to their engagement session, which quickly became a favorite of mine! Have you ever seen a couple that so perfectly compliments one another? Well, that’s Taelor and Ross. Whenever I directed them to interact with one another— rather that was Ross whispering something funny in her ear, or snuggling in close— their reactions were so genuine and adorable to watch!
Due to Covid-19 their original wedding date was changed, but August 1st couldn’t have went more perfectly. At the wedding I was happy to be greeted by some familiar faces… turns out it’s a small world, or maybe just a small town. My favorite part of the ceremony was when Taelor and Ross exchanged their handwritten vows. That was such a sweet and personal touch that left everyone emotional! Another favorite part of this day was this mock first look where Ross’s brother dressed in white and tapped him on the shoulder… much to his disappointment.
